On August 9, 2018, the World Breastfeeding Week Launching Ceremony themed breast feeding foundation of life was held at Menara Selatan Auditorium, 13th Floor South Tower Building. The ceremony was officiated by the Director of the University Malaya Medical Center, YM Professor Dr. Tunku Kamarul Zaman Bin Tunku Zainol Abidin.

The PPUM has surpassed the re-recognition of a baby friend''s hospital on 23 to 25 april 2018 and the practice of breastfeeding needs to be continued as it is purely in line with the government''s expectation of 100% expecting mothers to breastfeed their babies. Hopefully this partnership will increase knowledge and benefit in the future.
