DEPRESSION AWARENESS DAY 2016

The Department of Psychology Medicine, UMMC held their inaugural Depression Awareness Day 2016 on the 23rd of March 2016. With the theme “Depression: Awareness and Awakening”, this event is aimed to seek and raise awareness of depression amongst members of the public.

The event was held in collaboration with the Malaysia Psychiatric Association (MPA) and organized by the Department of Psychology Medicine lead by Dr. Abd. Rasyid Sulaiman. This event was launched by the Director of UMMC, Prof. Tunku Kamarul Zaman Tunku Zainol Abidin who then spend some time attending to the poster presentation held in conjunction with the event. The day was also packed with activities such as public forum on depression and its awareness, informative booths, posters presentations as well as lucky draws.

Congratulations to those who were involved in the event and ensuring it was a success!
