Kuala Lumpur, March 20 - A public forum to raise awareness on head injuries (brain) was held at the University Malaya Medical Center (UMMC), Lembah Pantai on Wednesday, March 20, 2019. The forum was held in conjunction with “World Head Injury Awareness Day” in 2019 and organized by the Medical Department of Rehabilitation, UMMC in collaboration with the Institute of Road Safety Research (MIROS) and the Social Security Organization (SOCSO). The Forum was officiated by, Associate Professor Dr Julia Anak Patrick Head of Rehabilitation Medicine Department. This session was attended by 130 participants from the public, staff of government hospitals and other private institutions.
