Department of Biomedical Imaging



This department is responsible for providing diagnostic imaging facilities, therapeutic and interventional radiography to patients including nuclear medicine.

The type of services provided includes general x-ray, specific x-ray such as computerised tomography scan, fluoroscopy, angiography, fluoroscopy/ berium training, intravenuous urography, mamography, cardiography, pancreatology retrogade cholangio pancreatic endoscopis imaging examination (ERCP), operation theatre imaging, lithtripsy procedure and minimal invasive procedure.


Whereas Nuclear Medicine provides diagnostic and therapeutic treatment service. The diagnostic service includes Thyroid and Parathyroid, Skeletal, Cardiovascular, Renal and Urinary Tract, Pulmonary, Gastro Intestinal and Hepatobiliary, Central Nerve System, Infection and Oncology, Lachrymal and Salivary, Bone Mineral Densitometry and other researches.

Therapeutic service includes radioiodin-131 Therapy with low doses for thyroticosis, radioiodin-131 therapy with high doses for thyroid cancer, Beta rays strantium-90, Pytergium Therapy Zevalin Beta Rays Yttrium-90 Therapy and Lymphoma Hodgkin cell B.
